Yoga, T'ai Chi Ch'uan and Spiritual Studies
The ashram is traditionally a spiritual hermitage, where students live and perform devotional services while studying the Spirit. The Advanced Meditation Ashram is a ‘virtual’ hermitage for students seeking advancement through more demanding techniques.
There are six fields of study: Meditation & Self Realization, Hatha Yoga and the Chakras, Chakra Meditation, T’ai Chi Meditation, Dantian Meditation, and Spiritual Studies.
Meditation & Self Realization and T'ai Chi Meditation are for new students to the arts. All other courses are for students with experience in the respective disciplines.
The references are: Hermes Trismegistus, Patañjali, the Buddha, Bhagavān Krishna, the Jewish Prophets, Lao Tzu, and Jesus the Christ. The courses will also refer to the contemporary masters Paramahansa Yogananda, Eckhart Tolle, Don Juan Matus and others who have contributed to mankind’s growth in spirit.
Advanced Meditation Ashram is pleased to be associated with Long Island Complementary & Family Medical Care, P.C., of Smithtown, NY (www.LIACUMED.com). Dr. James Y. Z.
